Practical training 2: Multimodal interaction guidance (10cr)

Objective

Students will be able to
? advance their interaction skills in a goal-oriented manner in authentic encounters by acting as a communication instructor for various customer groups
? advance their guidance competencies and pedagogical skills in communication instruction for people with a speech-, hearing- or hearing and vision impairment, their family members and friends, and other professionals
? analyse, construct and verbalise their expertise in professional interaction.

Content

During the module, students learn to advance their guidance competence and pedagogical skills in authentic settings in a goal-oriented manner. The practical training period provides opportunities to work with people with speech, hearing or hearing and vision impairments and their personal support networks and other professionals. The basic practical training introduces students to various pedagogical (and multicultural) work environments.

Learning environment: practical training, basic practical training (5 ECTS credits).
