Objective
Students will be able to:
• demonstrate knowledge of the interpreting techniques and technologies used in international settings and apply them according to their competencies
• describe the possibilities and limitations of International Sign in interpreting
• critically evaluate the role of the English language in International Sign from the interpreting perspective
• apply and develop their interpreting skills in multilingual and multicultural settings
• adapt their use of the working languages according to customers’ language and cultural needs
• utilise their International Sign skills and multimodal resources in interpreting.
