Objective
Students will be able to:
• describe how Humak’s alumni activities and career guidance (ALLU) are conducted
• recognize regional, national, or international work- and alumni networks
• recognize areas of development in alumni activities
• plan and implement various networking events for voluntary alumni
Content
The course offers Humak’s regional units an opportunity to accreditate the development of local alumni activities. It can be also used for developing the alumni activities in all our degree profiles. The course is a part of ALLU, i.e. the alumni activities and career guidance at Humak UAS).
Developing alumni activities 3 ECTS and Planning a career path 2 ECTS form a module that ties the graduated alumni to Humak’s alumni activities and career guidance.

The process of Developing alumni activities 3 ECTS:
1. The regional unit/team/field of education agrees upon the alumni activities and events that will be held during the academic year, and which staff members will be responsible for them (e.g. alumni events, meetings, check-ins etc.)
2. The student lets their own study coach know that they are willing to participate in alumni studies
3. The assignments and grading are agreed upon with the student’s coach or other lecturer
4. The student fills out a plan for the accreditation of their work and delivers the plan to the course’s BB platform.
5. The student completes the assignments according to the plan
6. The student fills out the accreditation plan for their work as instructed
7. The student turns in the documents to the BB platform
8. The assignment is graded as either ’completed’ (suoritettu) or ’needs supplementation’ (täydennettävä). This is done according to step 3.
9. The student is credited 3 ECTS.
