Objective
Students
- can organize productions and projects or their sub-areas
- identify the objectives, finances, measurements and industry structures related to the production
- improve their competences in the chosen sub-area of the production process
- analyse/evaluate/develop the chosen sub-area of the production based on industry sources
- can make research-based proposals for improvements to workplace or industry practices.
Content
- Work in a production as part of the production team
- Analyse/evaluates/develops a sub-area of the production
- Learns to utilize research-based sources to support the development approach
Assessment criteria, approved/failed
Pass:
- Registration for the course in question in Peppi
- Internship agreement signed and approved by all parties (student + internship supervisor + Humak lecturer)
- Completion of the internship in accordance with the agreement (appropriate content, required number of working hours)
- Return of the internship supervisor's evaluation
- Participation in the TE seminar (the next possible seminar after the end of the internship)
- Reporting:
- The report includes a section on developing the production process or industry based on sources and comparisons
- Source references are marked in accordance with Humak's guidelines
Fail:
- The student has not successfully completed all the assignments for the course, or the assignments have not been submitted in accordance with the instructions given.

Explorer level practical training period, carried out as a work placement within the field of cultural management and reported according to the instructions in the Handbook for practical training. The practical training period includes relevant documents, familiarization with the workplace, practical training according to the objectives set in the work placement plan, work placement report and self-assessment of one’s own learning.
