Practical training 1: Introduction to the fields of community education (10cr)

Objective

Students
- Build their own professional agency.
- Familiarize themselves with a chosen work field within community education and related duties.
- Practice the planning, instruction and organizing of community action.
- Apply the conceptual framework of community education to practical duties and can validate their choices.

Content

The course is a basic practical training period of the first level. The practical training period is carried out as a work placement within the field of community education and reported according to the instructions in the Handbook for practical training. The practical training period includes drafting a work placement contract, familiarizing with the workplace, practical training according to the goals set in the contract, a report, feedback from the supervisor and self-assessment of the learning outcome.

Ennen harjoittelua on suositeltavaa, että ensimmäisen lukukauden opinnot ovat suoritettuina.
