Objective
Students will
- broaden their knowledge of their own field via English-language research literature and English literature.
- choose research or novels of interest that will contribute to their studies.
- develop their ability to read academic and literary texts and enhance their language proficiency.
- develop their ability to produce texts in English.
Content
Students will read three English-language texts. At least one of these texts must be an academic work or longer article from the student’s own field. The student will write an analysis or report of the texts in English. There is a set list of readings for this subject, but students may also propose their own texts.
