Objective

Students can take this final exam unit to improve exam grades achieved during their degree. In line with Kela requirements and standard practice, students must achieve a minimum grade of 3 (on a scale of 1-5) in all numerically-assessed parts of the final exam and must also pass an ethical reflection task in order to practise as an interpreter.

Content

The student may take one or more of the following final exams as needed:
- Sign language interpreting final exam
- Interpreting for people with speech impairments final exam
- Speech-to-text interpreting final exam
- Interpreting for deafblind customers final exam
- Signed speech final exam

The exam sections vary according to the form of interpreting but each final exam will include a section or sections assessing interpreting skills and an ethical reflection task.

Qualifications

Tarkoitettu opiskelijoille, jotka eivät loppukokeen ja siihen kuuluvan kahden uusintakerran jälkeen ole saaneet loppukokeen kaikista numeerisesti arvioitavista osista vähintään arvosanaa kolme (arviointiasteikolla 1–5).
