Objective

On successfully completing this course, students will:
- Be familiar with the concepts and perspectives of sustainable development and ecosocial education, applied to NGO work
- Recognise the potential of civic activities and the third and fourth sector in promoting sustainable lifestyles.
- Understand the important role of systematic and strategic thinking in enabling change
- Have the skills to evaluate existing practices and/or thinking within an organisation in an inclusive, critical and development-oriented way.
- Be able to apply futures thinking to their chosen NGO context.
