KiVANET Finnish Sign Language (3cr)

Objective

This online course introduces you to Finnish sign language, which consists of signs, facial expressions, gestures and body movements.
In this course you will learn the basic signs used in everyday situations and how to form sentences in Finnish sign language.
During the course you will practise understanding basic expressions and descriptive expressions from slow and clear signing.
The course will also cover the basics of Deaf culture.
You will reach proficiency level A1.
