Cultural Heritage and its Processes (5cr)

Objective

After completing the course, the student will:be familiar with cultural heritage as a concept and as a phenomenonrecognise how the concept and phenomenon of cultural heritage is connected to academic, cultural and social issues andunderstand the different contexts, motivations and objectives related to cultural heritage work and its processes.

Content

The course examines cultural heritage as an academic concept and phenomenon in everyday life. It also covers the cultural and societal processes influencing cultural heritage.
