Students
• understand basic Finnish texts in written and spoken language
• are aware of differences between written and spoken Finnish
• can produce basic texts in both spoken and written Finnish
• manage simple discussions and everyday situations in Finnish
• strengthen their knowledge of grammatical structures and special characteristics of the Finnish language
• familiarize themselves with Finnish culture

Attending the course

Content

Students develop their skills in both spoken and written Finnish. Students are prepared to use Finnish in everyday situations. This course complements the course Finnish for beginners 1. The intended learning outcomes equal reference level A2 in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
