Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
The student has room for improvement in understanding sustainable business. Business planning is not based on sustainability or lacks realism. There is room for improvement in profitability, the earning model or pricing, or all of these. There is room for improvement in the skills needed to set up and run a business.
Assessment criteria, good (3)
The student's competence in designing a sustainable business and earning model is at a good level. The values of sustainability, responsibility, and ethics are considered. The student has demonstrated a good command of the practices related to setting up and running a business.
Assessment criteria, excellent (5)
The student has demonstrated excellent competence in designing a sustainable business and earning model. The plan is built on a foundation of sustainability and responsibility. From these premises, a plan for a profitable business with a sustainability dimension has been developed. The student has demonstrated an excellent command of the practices involved in setting up and running a business.
Further information
The course can be taken individually or in a team (recommended). During the course, students will learn about sustainability and responsibility as a basis for business planning. The output of the module will be assessed through peer assessment and the students' own competences will be demonstrated in the module exams.
